I’m working on another update to the site. I’ll be adding more parts, more base body colors, and more backgrounds! The next update after that will include more smilies in the Smiley Gallery. I am building this site to be THE smiley resource, so stay tuned!

Hi there! Welcome to ezSmiley version 2.0!

I’ve been working on this site for a while now. I released a version a few weeks ago, but the site obviously wasn’t ready for you guys. I didn’t have enough smiley parts, and I had no news page to tell you guys what was up. Now the redesign is pretty much done!

I’ve installed a CMS for the front page so I can post news like upcoming features, polls, cool stuff like that.

I remade the Smiley Creator page, too, since it was rapidly becoming too crowded. Now we have plenty of room to grow!

I rewrote a lot of the Gallery code to paginate the entries; no more loooooong pages to scroll through!

Added the “Last 9 Smileys” feature so you can see some of the smileys people are making. I plan to implement some more social features soon, including a Facebook application!

For those of you not familiar with the function of the site, just click the big “Create a Smiley” button, or the “Create” link in the navbar. From there, you can just click to create a smiley, picking one (or less!) from each of the categories like mouths, eyes, and hats!

Post the smileys you make on sites far and wide. Also, I’d love to hear where you’re using my smileys. You can e-mail me at any username at this domain; they’ll all come to me, so make up something funny! I’d also love to hear any suggestions for improvement to the site. What’s missing from ezSmiley??
